Our story

AI-native.Product-obsessed.Relentless.

AI Gen Apps is an AI-native technology company. We build and operate a portfolio of our own software and SaaS products — and we build custom AI-native systems for other businesses, enterprises and founders. We build our own. We build for others.

A note from our founder

I have been working in software and technology for almost a decade — long before large language models became part of everyday conversation.

I have always been obsessed with building software.

Not only writing code, but understanding how all the pieces fit together: the architecture underneath, the business logic behind it, and the experience of the person actually using it.

For me, the interesting part has always been somewhere in the middle.

Bridging the gap between what a business needs and what technology can make possible.

Then AI changed the scale of that possibility.

A few years ago, as large language models began moving from research into the hands of everyday people, I became completely fascinated by what was happening. The technology itself had been developing for years. But suddenly you could feel that something had changed.

This was not another software trend. It felt like the beginning of one of the biggest technological shifts of our generation.

At the time, I was still running my previous software development company, Lintech Group. But alongside the client work, I kept going deeper into AI. Reading. Testing. Coding. Breaking things. Rebuilding them. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession.

About two years ago, I began building deeper AI integrations into software systems. Then I started asking a much bigger question:

What happens if AI isn't an integration at all? What happens if you design the entire system around intelligence from the beginning?

That was when I started building AI-native systems.

There was no grand launch. There was no marketing campaign. There wasn't even an AI Gen Apps company yet.

It was largely me, in my room in Birmingham, still running Lintech Group and spending whatever time I had left building and experimenting with these systems.

Life was a little up and down at the time. But I couldn't stop working on it. I didn't fully know what the system would become. I just knew there was something there.

Then a client approached us with a much bigger challenge: they wanted an entire SaaS platform built AI-native from the ground up.

That project changed everything.

It was probably one of the hardest periods of my life professionally. I was working day and night. We were solving problems we had never had to solve before. There wasn't always a blueprint to follow, because the way we were trying to build the software itself was new to us.

We never wanted to sell something simply because AI was popular.

We wanted to understand it. Deeply. We wanted to know what worked, what didn't, where deterministic software was still essential, where models were genuinely better, and how you could combine the two into a system someone could actually trust to run part of their business.

Eventually, Phase One went live successfully. And when we stepped back and looked at what we had managed to build, we were shocked. Not because AI had magically replaced software, but because of what happened when good software architecture and AI-native thinking were designed together.

That was the moment AI Gen Apps was really born. Still from my room in Birmingham. No fancy office. No big advertising campaign. Just an obsession with the product and a growing conviction that this was where software was going.

We moved into Phase Two. Then another project came. Then another. Two became three. Three became four. Four became five.

And gradually, we found ourselves benchmarking the systems we were building against products from companies vastly larger than us — names such as HubSpot and some of the new generation of AI-native platforms. In certain workflows, our AI-native systems could complete work 10–20× faster than the traditional processes they were replacing.

If technology could make the work 10–20× faster, then simply delivering the same value faster wasn't enough.

We felt that clients should benefit from that shift too. More capability. More output. Better software. More intelligence. More value for the money they were trusting us with.

That thinking eventually led to another decision. It was time to start building products of our own — to take everything we had learnt from building real systems for real businesses and turn it into software that could serve far more people.

At the same time, we didn't want to leave client work behind. Today, we continue building AI-native solutions for startups and enterprises, while also working closely with the smaller businesses that are often closest to the everyday reality of running a company.

Because our mission was never simply to work with the biggest organisations.

We want to empower and supercharge businesses through this AI revolution — whatever their size.

For me, that also means something more human. I want us to build relationships with the people behind the businesses. I want to understand what frustrates them. What wastes their time. What keeps them working late. What stops the business growing.

And if something we build gives a business owner a little more freedom, makes their company run better, or simply puts a smile on their face because something that used to take hours now takes minutes — that matters to me.

That philosophy led us to our biggest product so far: Nure AI OS.

Our ambition with Nure is enormous. We are building towards an AI-native operating system that can support a business from end to end — connecting intelligence across finance, marketing, documentation, legal, client management, HR and the wider operations of the company.

Not another isolated AI tool. Not AI bolted onto ten different pieces of software. A connected system built around how the business actually operates.

And once again, we realised that technology alone would not be enough. If we want Nure to reach thousands of businesses, those businesses will still need people who understand them — people who can sit with an owner, learn how their company works and help them implement the technology properly.

That is why we launched the AI Gen Apps Partner Network. We are now training software launch and implementation partners who can work directly with businesses as we scale Nure AI OS — building relationships locally while bringing this new generation of software into companies that may never have had access to this level of technology before.

And we are still only at the beginning. I don't know exactly what the next ten years of AI will look like. I don't think anybody does. But I know what I felt when I first started building with this technology.

This changes the baseline of what software can do.

And if the baseline changes, our responsibility as builders changes with it. We have to build better. We have to create more value. And we have to make sure this technology doesn't only benefit a handful of the world's largest companies.

Our mission is to put that capability into the hands of the people building businesses every day. To help them move faster. To give them greater capability. To give them leverage they never had before. And hopefully, somewhere along the way, make running their business a little more exciting again.

That is the story behind AI Gen Apps.

What defines us

The principles at the heart of everything we build.

01

AI-native

We don't put AI everywhere. We put intelligence where it belongs — deterministic software, fast models and real reasoning, working as one system.

02

Product-obsessed

We build and operate our own products. We go deep on the things we understand, rather than wide on the things we don't.

03

Relentless

Speed is leverage. We architect, build and ship at a pace that outperforms incumbent platforms many times over.
